I've been busy for about three weeks with reconfiguring my studio and I've actually made time for some scrap therapy and other projects. So this is what I've been up to...
This was inspired by life and by the song "Rockstar" by My Ruin.

Before you ask...yes, I hand stamped every single letter! I'm crazy, but it was so worth it. The X's is a stamp by Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous.

I stamped this heart on cardboard and then cut it out. Then I stapled it down the middle...not to the paper, just on the actual cardboard. I used pop dots to adhere it to the paper. Stamp is by Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous.

This is a chipboard scroll by Maya Road. I misted it using Tiger Lily and Coffee Shop Mists by Tattered Angels. I then stamped over it with another Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous stamp.

I really wanted the "Hurts" to pop --that's the emotion I poured into this page. So again, I stamped on cardboard and then cut out the letters and adhered them with Scrappy Glue. Stamps are by Inkadinkado.

I want to thank my friend Deb for turning me on to the Rock On line by Prima. It's really rockin'! I picked up these "winged" stickers at Michaels on Friday. They are clear stickers so I adhered them to Castle Copper colored cardstock by Wausau Paper (from their metallic line) and then cut them out. I stamped "Mistress In Ruin" (my online screen name, mmmkay) on Grungeboard by Tim Holtz that was distressed with Fired Brick and Vintage Photo distress inks. I did hammer the hell out of the black brads --that was fun. :) The flower is by Prima.

Okay...next project! This was something that I started at GASC in Arlington Texas. This is by a company called Quick Quotes. And if you haven't heard of them, you should check them out. They specialize in canvas pieces. So this project is a canvas.

My next project is a very simple card that I made for my former boss. It's a "thank you" card. And although it doesn't say it on the outside, I did stamp "Thank you" on the inside. Stamps, cardstock and paper are all by Stampin' Up!

And finally...this was my album track from CKU Nashville. Unfortunately I only completed one page while in Nashville (in my hotel room - haha)...so I have spent the past week completing it because it's a Mother's Day gift for my mom (I know, I know!!). Everything in this book is by Making Memories using the Chloe's Closet line of paper, embellishments, ribbons, etc. There might be a word stamp in there (or two) that are actually by Stampin' Up! Don't anyone tell my mom I posted this...some of the pictures are not too flattering but they are the most recent ones I had. I can hear it already! :p
My friend Susan helped me with the accordian flowers. I didn't even attempt to make them. So thanks Suz!! I regret not putting the green ribbon elsewhere. It's supposed to look like a flower with leaves but instead it looks like a ribbon from the County Fair. LOL. Oh well. I went ahead and added 8 additional pages that were not a part of the album track...I know, I'm a maverick! :p

Thanks for looking! Now I'm off to work on my Father's Day project. I know, I know!!!

I adore the green card aswell. Very very cute.
Who makes those alpha stamps and what are they called!!? I love them!
I get the Maya Road email, though, and I DO love their design team! Gorgeous stuff - they have been my inspiration for a few projects now so far!
